I opted for a lovely (and slightly intimidating!) Canon XH A1.
The salesman at B&#038;H (colossal video/photo store in NY) recommended this over my original Sony choice. Can't wait to see how clearly it'll capture these illusions that are at the ready. Of course now a faster computer is needed, a better still digital camera........</description>

A few freinds and I were in Best Buy last week looking at consumer level HD camcorders..seemed the highest rated were the Canons but the Sony model I saw looked quite good when I tested it: High Definition Handycam® Camcorder HDR-CX12 (seems like a great camera at a great price). I guess a concern is using firewire as opposed to USB for uploading....otherwise, the lens and whatever deal you can strike. How you doing in NY? When will you be by here?..</description>
